German Version

Since my Diploma in mathematics I've been working from 03/97 to 02/01 as assistant professor at the
Institut für Geometrie und Praktische Mathematik. During this period I've given exercises in various fields,
e.g., descriptive geometry for civil engineers, programming exercises for engineers and mathematicians as
well as numerical mathematics and a C++-course. Specific interests for my studies were multiscale methods
for solving elliptic boundary value problems, Navier-Stokes equations as well as developing efficient data
types for adaptive wavelet methods.

After my PhD I started as a Consultant and Trainer for the Matlab product family at The MathWorks.
The curriculum of courses ranges from basic courses for the three main products Matlab, Simulink and
Stateflow, to specialists courses designed individually for the specific needs.
The MathWorks does all kind of consulting for the Matlab products from coaching to application
development, embedded system development as well as designing control systems, modelling and
simulations.

On June, 15th, my fiancee Beatrix Edelhofer and I married. At the wedding I changed my last name to
hers, so since then my full name is Titus Edelhofer.
