Master studies in Applied Mathematics are expected to take 4 semesters. In the fourth semester students write their master thesis. In total this requires roughly 7 full (4 hour) lecture courses in mathematics, 2 seminars in mathematics, and 2 lecture courses in an application area (computer science, applied geophysics, others possible on request).
