| ABSTRACT | This work considers the localization of a bioluminescent source in a tissue-mimicking phantom. To model the light propagation in the resulting inverse problem the radiative transfer equation is approximated by using hierarchical simplified moment approximations. The inverse problem is then solved by using a consensus-based optimization algorithm. |
